Press Releases Written to Be Read

A press release has one job, which is to make the news easy to understand.

We start by asking what is new, who it affects, and why anyone outside your organization should care. The release follows standard press format, with a headline, a clear opening paragraph, a quote that you approve, and your boilerplate. You review and approve it before it goes anywhere.
Distribution comes next. We coordinate sending through the channels you approve, including email to a targeted contact list and a wire service if you want one. Wire fees are quoted separately and billed at cost.

How Outreach Works

Outreach is a conversation, and it takes patience.

We build a list of journalists, podcasters, and bloggers who cover your topic, then read their recent work before we write to them. Each pitch is short and personal, and it points to something the recipient has covered. We follow up politely and log every exchange.
Relationships grow over months, so we keep notes on who responded, what they asked for, and when to reach out again. When you host a webinar or a launch, the same list helps us promote it. We prepare a media advisory and promotional copy, and we send them early enough for editors and community groups to plan around your date.

Where Our Control Ends

Hearts Touch controls the quality of the writing, the care in each pitch, and the speed of follow-up. Press coverage depends on editors and producers, so we cannot promise placement or any specific publicity result. Your proposal lists the releases, the size of the media list, and the follow-up we will do, and we report every response we receive.
